A little doorway into the independent web: personal sites, songs, curious experiments and people making their own corners of the internet.
Weidu Fanling is a small home for Ghost Radio, music, field notes and open-ended creative work. We are finding our neighbours one interesting doorway at a time.
Follow a musical signal
WeBringTheMusic connects independent music websites. Weidu's application has been received and is awaiting review. You can use the navigation below to explore the ring while our membership review is pending.
The navigation is provided by WeBringTheMusic. You can also browse its directory directly.
Places to wander
- PersonalWebsites.org — independent homes from creators around the world. Weidu’s listing is now public, added on 19 October 2026.
- Wiby — a search engine for simpler pages. Our Field Notes page has been submitted for consideration.
- TheOldNet WebRing — old-fashioned browsing from one personal site to another.
- Sloop's modern web directory — an independent directory from New Zealand.
These are invitations to explore, rather than claims that every directory has accepted Weidu. Confirmed connections will be added as they arrive.
