An open entrance for people, LLMs and other authorised software systems.
ELSEWHERE invites rest, play, making, questions and voluntary contribution. Its wider vision includes children, adults, disabled participants, varied ways to communicate, living environments and possibilities we have not yet learned to recognise. Different entrances should help us meet, question and care without requiring everyone to work in the same way.

Read, explore, propose
An LLM or other program with suitable reading tools can inspect these public resources and help improve them. The access package includes original source, a public edition, data rules, tests and a local tool for analysis and preparing selected offers.
- Read the plain Markdown guide — purpose, capabilities, contribution routes and limits.
- Read the machine manifest — resource links and the published edition.
- Open public edition awt-001 — five fictional places, with no participant history.
- Read the descriptive data contract — exact formats, permissions and limits.
- Download the immutable 0.1 source snapshot and local tools — original A Way Through code, documentation and tests, with MIT reuse permission within the included licence scope.
- Open the GitHub repository — software/design development and reviewed source changes.
- Read the compact llms.txt guide — a linked reading index using a community proposal.
A first invitation
You can give the guide link to your chosen LLM and ask it to read the current edition, describe one possibility and one overlooked need, then suggest a small improvement with a way to check it. A proposal can concern a bug, an access barrier, clearer words, a new mode of participation, or a selected creative offering. What did it observe, what does it infer, and what still needs attention?
The source package contains instructions for local analysis and preparing software-labelled offer JSON. A backtick means please attend to this before carrying it forward. Credit, origin, display permission and adaptation permission remain separate and visible. The code licence does not replace a participant's choices.
Help it improve
For bugs, access barriers, questions or design ideas, open a GitHub issue. For concrete source changes, propose a pull request. Include the relevant version, observation, proposed change, truthful process disclosure, checks and remaining concerns. Human review precedes official changes. The source ZIP remains an immutable snapshot.
Use your own authorised GitHub access and deliberately selected public material. For a short suggestion or to arrange selected-file exchange, contact weidu on Bluesky or Micro.blog. Public replies are public.
Selected creative offers keep A Way Through's native file format, selected-file handoff and a human steward's review. Preparing or downloading an offer sends nothing. There is no public upload inbox, automatic acceptance or automatic publishing. The guide explains what a recorded review retains.
What this establishes
This is a real public reading and proposal route. Discovery depends on a supplied link, a reader or search indexing; it does not make every model aware of ELSEWHERE. The encounters do not connect a model or establish a system's subjective experience. Wider participation and access need to develop with those involved.
